Another Mei Tai ... a girl can never have enough baby carriers. Ive never really sewn with anything silky before but it turned out well *phew* . The stylish maxamus was only too happy to get in and let me test it out. Don't think i can carry him about much longer he weights too much. Weeley big boy so he says. Hmm what to sew next???

After two scans (second one cause stumpy was happy sleeping and didn't want to move) it looks like our stumpy is a .....*drum roll * GIRL .. omg what do i do with a girl? Seeing how girls stuff at the shops is alllll so boring ive set about making some special one off pieces . Number one... a dress awww so so cute! and number two another new nappy (a girl can never have too many nappies).

Inspired by a recent find of a really cool mei tai pattern i just had to make one!... Took a good few hours but its worth it . Now just to finish cooking Stumpy to go in the mei tai. Its a vintage looking mushroom fabric on the outside with a pink minkee on the other totally reversible. No its not pink cause we know what we are having , Stumpy is still an IT (till the 4th of jan) but i thought tan mushroom fabric really should be lined with pink.

OK , I'm not ready to admit how many prams i do own but lets just say its tooo many. Mean Mattie says i have to ebay some *sob* it wont be easy. This all came about because i brought a second hand bugaboo OMG its heaven to push! will be so easy when the new baby comes along and Ive got to juggle a sling , bag and pram. With the snazzy new pram of course it needed a snazzy new bag to be hung on it. see pic...

And i also saw this piece of fabric on the clearance table and thought it would make a great "different" chrissy stocking. Must start my Christmas sewing now or ill never be finished by christmas.

long time no post...

I haven't been sewing lately ... there are probably spiders living in the overlocker by now. We've all been sick here , with nasty coughs and sniffles . Not fun! .. well any who .. finished off a sling for my adopted daughter Crystal who's pregnant with her first . The sling is sooo her! nothing quiet about it , hope she enjoys it.


Also a couple of sensory blankets for baby's (or children as my 4 year old lovvves his!) . Hoping to sell them off hehe .. $10 each + postage , email me if your interested (tamsdelica@internode.on.net).

I have a problem with garage sales ... im totally addicted. So today I scored a heap of vintage patterns and a bowl of old buttons for a whole $1 .
