Saturday morning bargans

I have a problem with garage sales ... im totally addicted. So today I scored a heap of vintage patterns and a bowl of old buttons for a whole $1 .
Here are a couple of my favourite patterns . I cant wait to start sewing

Super matt saves the day

I know , I know! ive been slack. Last Tuesday (my birthday) I got a new overlocker WOOHOO and its only taken me a week to find time to set it up. Well truth be known Matthew had to set it up cause I was ready to chuck it out the window. So since the super kind Kim lent me her Snapper machine (for cloth nappies) and gave me a huge box of assorted fabric I thought it was time max got a couple of new nappies.
Next project , girls dresses. Ive never sewn anything girlie having 3 boys but at a garage sale I stopped at on Saturday I got a big plastic bag full of girls patterns (new and vintage) I was very happy .. specially when the lady selling them said I could have the lot of $10 . Couldn't get my money out fast enough . Well ill post another couple of photos and post again when ive finally made something girlie! *hugs* Tams

Dont look Kim!

The lovely Kim requested a bag and of course i couldnt make one for her without making one for her beautiful daughter . So i hope she likes it !

Everyone else seems to have one so i thought id get in on the act too . Mostly to show off my sewing and craft work . Maybe a couple of pics of my kids now and then :)
Now just to work out how all this works.
